Weigh In Day

I think I have officially hit a plateau. I have officially stayed around 242 for the past month. It's depressing, but I know the past couple of weeks have been difficult ones. I want out of the 240's. I have been here since the middle of March. I know weight loss slows after a little bit then gains momentum again. It's just depressing. I have eaten all right this week. I still am having trouble eating certain foods but I haven't went over my calories. I guess we'll try harder this coming week. I am also hoping I can start walking again on Monday. We'll see what happens.

    Only 3 pounds to go and you are out of the 240s! I suggest doing a Jillian Michaels DVD, "No More Trouble Zones" That will shock your body right into the 230s lol

    I hovered around 203 for 6 weeks, then lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks, now I've been hovering again for 6 weeks.

    Knowing it will move again doesn't make it any easier right now, does it? *sigh* Good luck!

    Hopefully this is just a case of your body saying: Hold on, give me a bit to catch up and adjust to everything, then wham, a big loss.

    It stinks. It's frustrating. Darned pounds, leave!

    I can feel your frustration. Maybe try a new work-out or up your water intake. Try to avoid carbs at night if you can or get some more sleep if you need too.

    CRYSTAL...I know exactly how you feel! I have been sort of stuck too. I know you can't relate to this but its the like the last days of you being pregnant. Everybody and their mother is calling you every 5 minutes waiting for some! good! news! but nothing. Day after day, nothing. Very frustrating. Ahem. Ok, back to the subject.

    Ok, here's my two cents. Do something different. Just to sort of "shock" your body (like Monica said). Maybe try no carbs (breads) for dinner this week. Or salads only for lunch this week. Something totally different (food wise).

    Hang in there. You are doing great. Keep in mind how much you've lost since January.

    Don't be depressed! It is only 3 pounds before you get out of the 240s. Even if it comes of ounce by ounce you can do it! Plateaus don't last forever so don't worry. You WILL get past this.
